Euphonic Moments

Az Euphonic Moments egy 2013-ban indult underground zenei projekt. Alapítói Ferenc Szanati és AeRo célul tűztük ki, hogy a Dub – Deep hangzásban mozgó zenei irányzatokat szélesebb körben is elérhetővé tegyük.

Események szervezésével kezdődött, majd adást is indítottunk a Tilos Rádió (Budapest, FM 90.3 MHz & Online) műsorán. Mivel anyagilag független a kezdeményezés, lehetőségünk van kizárólag azokat a DJ-ket, előadókat bemutatni nektek, akik minőségi munkát végeznek stílusaikban, legyen ismert, vagy kevésbé ismert név.
Jövőbeni terveink között szerepel a közösségépítés is, hiszen mi hozná össze legjobban az ebereket, mint a jó zene…

Euphonic Moments is an underground music project that started in 2013. Founded by Ferenc Szanati and AeRo, our goal is to make the Dub – Deep sound of the music more widely available.

We started by organizing events and then we started broadcasting on Tilos Radio (Budapest, FM 90.3 MHz & Online). As the initiative is financially independent, we have the opportunity to present to you only DJs and artists who are doing quality work in their styles, whether they are well-known or lesser-known names.

Our future plans also include community building, because what better way to bring people together than good music…

Ferenc Szanati

Ferenc Szanati a magyar dubtechno szcéna egyik legelkötelezettebb DJ-je, szelekcióit az időtlen, mély és hipnotikus jegyek jellemzik. Találkozhatsz vele rádióműsorokban, klubokban és fesztiválokon is egyaránt.

A zene mellett a hangminőség is fontos számára, hogy különböző rendszereken mindig a lehető legjobban szólaljanak meg a zenék, emiatt előnyben részesíti a vinylt.

2007-ben DJ versenyt nyert a Justmusic.FM rádióban.

2011-ben, a keszthelyi Helikon Rádió, Koktél című műsorában kapott rendszeres lehetőséget mint rezidens DJ és szerkesztő, hogy a régióban is elérhető legyen földi sugárzásban az általa képviselt stílus.

2015-ben barátjával, AeRo-val megalapították az Euphonic Moments eseménysorozatot, amely azóta műsor lett a Tilos Rádióban (Budapest, FM 90.3 és online), mely már túl van a 260. adáson is.

A Dub Techno központú adások kétheti rendszerességgel hallhatók, melyben a házigazdák mellett olyan magyar és nemzetközi DJ-k vendégmixei is helyet kapnak, akik minőségi munkát végeznek.

2023-tól rezidensként kapott lehetőséget a Technodub Seance eseményein, ami Magyarország első dubtechno projektje, mely nagy elismertségnek örvend az elektronikus zenét kedvelők körében.

Ferenc Szanati is one of the most dedicated DJs on the Hungarian dubtechno scene, with selections characterized by timeless, deep, and hypnotic qualities. You can catch him on radio shows, in clubs, and at festivals.

In addition to music, sound quality is also important to him, so that the music always sounds as good as possible on different systems, which is why he prefers vinyl.

In 2007, he won a DJ competition on Justmusic.FM radio.

In 2011, he was given a regular slot as a resident DJ and editor on Helikon Radio’s Koktél program in Keszthely, making his style of music available in the region via terrestrial broadcasting.

In 2015, he and his friend AeRo founded the Euphonic Moments event series, which has since become a show on Tilos Radio (Budapest, FM 90.3 and online), which has already aired more than 260 episodes.

The Dub Techno-focused broadcasts are aired every two weeks and feature guest mixes by Hungarian and international DJs who do quality work, in addition to the hosts.

From 2023, he was given the opportunity to become a resident DJ at Technodub Seance events, Hungary’s first dub techno project, which is highly regarded among electronic music fans.

AeRo Budapesten él. Gyermekkora óta érdeklődik a zene iránt és több hangszeren is játszott. Korábban jazz zenekarban is zenélt. 2005-ben kezdett különböző elektronikus zenei stílusokkal ismerkedni, mindig is a rétegzenéket részesítette előnyben: lounge, trip-hop, jazz, bossa-nova, chillout, ambient, liquid drum & bass, jungle, deep house, dub techno. Sokféle stílust kipróbálva végül a deep house és a dub techno stílusokban találta meg önmagát. 2010 óta producerként is tevékenykedik, jelenleg főleg DJ-ként dolgozik és ha teheti, bakelitlemezekről zenél. 2013-ban barátjával, Szanati Ferenccel megalapította az „Euphonic Moments” rendezvénysorozatot, amely éveken át rendszeresen zajlott a Nemdebárban. 2015-ben ugyanezen a néven műsort indítottak a Tilos Rádióban is. Az Euphonic Moments időközben egy podcast sorozattá is bővült, amely jelenleg saját honlappal rendelkezik, ezt is AeRo üzemelteti és fejleszti. 2014 óta gyűjt lemezeket, gyűjteménye már több mint 300 darabból áll, főként deep house és dub techno lemezekből. Számos helyen lépett már fel, többek között a Lärmben, a Trubinában, a Dürer Kertben, az Aurórában, a Müsziben, a Mika Tivadar Mulatóban, a Telepen, a Nemdebárban, a Piknik Manufaktúrában, a Gátőrházban, a Deep Vision Night Campen, a Phonoda Campen és a KERDŐ-n.

AeRo lives in Budapest. Since childhood, he has been interested in music and has played multiple instruments. He previously performed in a jazz band. In 2005, he began exploring various electronic music styles, always favoring niche genres such as lounge, trip-hop, jazz, bossa nova, chillout, ambient, liquid drum & bass, jungle, deep house, and dub techno. After trying out many styles, he finally found his place in deep house and dub techno. He has been working as a producer since 2010 and currently works mainly as a DJ, preferring to play vinyl records whenever possible. In 2013, he and his friend Ferenc Szanati founded the „Euphonic Moments” event series, which was a regular event at Nemdebár for years. In 2015, they launched a show of the same name on Tilos Radio. Euphonic Moments has since expanded into a podcast series with its own website, which AeRo also operates and develops. Since 2014, he has been collecting records, now amassing a collection of over 300 records, mainly deep house and dub techno. He has performed at numerous venues, including Lärm, Trubina, Dürer Kert, Auróra, MüSzi, Mika Tivadar Mulató, Telep, Nemdebár, Piknik Manufaktúra, Gátőrház, Deep Vision Night Camp, Phonoda Camp, and KERDŐ.
